Our history
Since 1981, in Montréal, several locksmith shops have come together under the SERRUPRO banner to form a single company. In 2011, after 30 years of existence, purchases, and mergers, the group was the subject of an acquisition.
BOIVIN SERRURIER, the new buyer of SERRUPRO Montréal, took advantage of the opportunity to join its company to the banner. This acquisition was the perfect opportunity to integrate the experience and know-how of the group with the dynamism of its new leader.
In addition, this acquisition allowed the company to offer its customers new services such as access control, intruder alarms, and intercoms. It has also developed expertise in chip keys and locks for cars. Such diversification of its offerings allowed the company to position itself with its customers as a partner in security as well as in locksmithing.
Today
The SERRUPRO Group in Montréal, which has now become one of the largest locksmithing companies in the province, brings together all the fields of security required to carry out turnkey projects for the residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors.
